What are the charges?
There is absolutely no charge to you for using the service. Our costs are met by means of a small credit card booking fee added to whatever price you set for your tickets and paid only by those customers who buy online.
You have the option to add the booking fee to the cost of the tickets or you can include the booking fee in the cost of the tickets and absorb the fee yourself.
The booking fee is applied per transaction (as opposed to per ticket) and is levied in accordance with the sliding scale outlined below:

How do my customers get their tickets?
We operate an eTicket system. This means that as soon as the customer´s credit card payment has been accepted they are automatically sent an email including an unique booking reference. The customer prints this out and brings it with them to the venue. When advance booking closes for each event date, you simply print out the Ticket Bookings report from your event promoter account. This gives you the name, seat numbers and unique booking reference for each customer.
You can either choose to use the customer print out as their ticket in itself, or as a proof of purchase that you then exchange for a more conventional ticket on the door. Either way there is no need to post tickets out, or deal with payment on the door when tickets are collected, so drastically cutting your queues on the door. The net result is less hassle for all involved (and the event much more likely to start on time).

Why bother? I get along fine with my seating plan and paper-based admin system!
TicketSource has been designed to mirror the tried and tested manual methods of keeping track of ticket sales. It also allows you to easily reconcile records of tickets sold online with records of tickets sold in other ways and also complimentary tickets. However because it is hosted online there are some key advantages.
The inspiration for this system was the irritation that we´ve all been through personally. Putting tickets aside for people that then take forever to pay, or change their mind at the last minute. With TicketSource, rather than you and your colleagues dealing with the hassle of distributing tickets and collecting money, you simply pass on your web address or the event listings page address at TicketSource if you don´t have a web site of your own... and they order and pay directly.

How do I manage customers paying directly by cash, cheque, credit/debit card or on the door and reserve tickets on behalf of my customers?
If you have customers wishing to pay you directly by cash or cheque, or you would like to offer complimentary tickets to customers then functionality is included allowing you to allocate tickets on their behalf.
To do so, log in to your event promoter account, and select the event, date and ticket quantities you wish to allocate to the customer. You will be asked to provide the customer´s name for reference purposes before completing the booking. Upon booking, an eTicket booking reference will be generated. This eTicket booking reference will then appear alongside all the other ticket sales on the Ticket Bookings report.

When do I receive ticket monies owing to me?
The ticket monies for an event will be transferred to your nominated bank account within 7 (seven) working days of the final event date.
The amount transferred will be net of our fees and any refunds to be made to customers as a result of cancellation.

Do I need to have my own web site?
No, but if you do have your own site then simply add a “Buy Tickets Online” button or link to your event listings page hosted on our site.
If you don´t have your own site then you can publicise the direct event listings page address for your event on our site (e.g. www.ticketsource.co.uk/yourcompanyname) and still take advantage of the FREE service. Either way, you simply set up details of your next event by entering the key information in your event promoter account such as the event dates and times, number of seats available and prices.
